The problem

Your money lives in five different apps.
Your attention can't.

A current account here, savings there, a credit card you keep meaning to check, that pension you forgot the password to. FortuneSage gathers all of it through Open Banking — read-only, secure, in one calm view.

What's inside

Calm tools.
Sharp results.

01

Open Banking aggregation

Connect every account you have — current, savings, credit cards — through TrueLayer's regulated API. Read-only access, never any login or PIN stored.

02

AI insight, not AI noise

Generated weekly, not on every refresh. The Sage notices patterns, flags anomalies, and writes them in plain English. You read what matters; the rest stays quiet.

03

Spending categorised properly

Merchant strings cleaned and grouped — 'SQ *COFFEE LDN' becomes 'Café Nero, Liverpool St, Coffee.' See where it actually goes, not where the bank thinks it does.

04

Receipts that remember

Snap a receipt, link it to the transaction, find it again in three taps. Useful for reimbursements, warranties, or just remembering why you spent £84 in March.

05

Budgets that bend

Soft monthly targets per category with carry-over. Miss one, the app doesn't shame you. It just shows you, clearly, what shifted.

06

Locked behind your face

Biometric unlock, end-to-end encryption on bank credentials, and a panic-PIN fallback. Your data lives in UK-region encrypted storage. Nothing sold, nothing shared.

Three steps

Set it up once.
Forget the rest.

I.

Connect your banks

Tap your bank, you're bounced to its app or website to confirm, you bounce back. We never see your password. Add as many as you like.

II.

Let the Sage settle in

Transactions stream in over the next minute. The Sage cleans merchants, learns your categories, and pre-calculates your patterns.

III.

Read the weekly note

Sunday morning, a single screen of insights — what changed, what's steady, what to watch. No notifications nagging you mid-week.

Trust, in detail

Built like a vault.
Reads like a journal.

FortuneSage operates as an Account Information Service under TrueLayer's FCA permissions. Read-only by design — we can see your transactions; we can never move your money.

Open Banking

Regulated AISP access via TrueLayer. Bank-led consent every 90 days, as required by UK law.

Encryption

TLS 1.3 in transit. Column-level encryption for credentials at rest, separate from your transaction data.

Authentication

Face / fingerprint unlock, PIN fallback. Sessions expire when you close the app.

Your data

UK-region servers. Never sold, never shared with advertisers. Export or delete it whenever you like.

Honest answers

You probably want to know

Can FortuneSage move money out of my accounts?+

No. We use read-only Open Banking access — we can see your transactions and balances, but moving money requires a separate permission (a Payment Initiation Service) which FortuneSage does not request and does not hold.

Which UK banks are supported?+

All major UK banks supported by Open Banking — Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, NatWest, Santander, Halifax, Nationwide, Monzo, Starling, Revolut, Chase, First Direct, Marcus, and most building societies. If your bank is in the UK, it almost certainly works.

How often do I have to reconnect my banks?+

Every 90 days. This is required by UK Open Banking regulation (the SCA rule), not something we choose. We make the re-consent flow as quick as possible — usually under 30 seconds per bank.

Is the AI giving me financial advice?+

No. The Sage describes patterns and surfaces observations from your data — ‘you spent more on groceries this month’ or ‘this subscription hasn't been used in 60 days.’ It does not recommend products, suggest investments, or tell you what to do with your money. For regulated advice, speak to a qualified financial adviser.

How much does it cost?+

There's a free tier with one connected bank and core features. The premium tier covers unlimited connections, deeper AI insights, receipt storage, and forecasting. Pricing is published in-app before you subscribe.

What happens if I delete my account?+

Your data — transactions, receipts, settings, everything — is permanently removed within 30 days. We also revoke your Open Banking consents with each connected bank, so we lose access immediately.
